Object Particles: 을/를

These particles mark the direct object of the sentence.

• Use 을 after words ending in a consonant

• Use 를 after words ending in a vowel

Examples:

• 책을 읽어요 (I read a book)

• 물을 마셔요 (I drink water)

• 한국어를 공부해요 (I study Korean)

• 음악을 들어요 (I listen to music)
