Polite suggestion: Verb stem + (으)ㅂ시다

가다 → 갑시다 (Let's go)
먹다 → 먹읍시다 (Let's eat)

Connectives

-고 (and)

가다 → 가고 (go and...)
먹다 → 먹고 (eat and...)

-아/어서 (and then, because)

가다 → 가서 (went and then...)
먹다 → 먹어서 (ate and then...)

-면 (if)

가다 → 가면 (if [you] go...)
먹다 → 먹으면 (if [you] eat...)

Progressive Forms (-고 있다)

Form: Verb stem + 고 있다 (conjugate 있다)

가다 → 가고 있어요 (I am going)
먹다 → 먹고 있어요 (I am eating)
